Service Dog and Allergies

Please read the attached letter, which will inform you that there will be a service dog on our campus starting Monday, 8/20. Please notify Administration immediately if you have severe animal allergies.

Please Mention this to your Students- Umbrellas

We recommend all students bring a small, backpack size umbrella or a poncho to keep in their backpacks for rainy days going to and from the car loop or bus.

Clubs- Student Club Sign up is this week!! Get your Club Applications in Now!

Be you everyday that's the coyote way! Clubs have been revolutionized! Each month we will have a club day, see the attached dates, utilizing the activity schedule. Because we believe in educating the whole child, we provide a wide range of learning opportunities that extend beyond the classroom. Students who participate in extracurricular activities tend to do better academically. Clubs also give students the opportunity to work with peers and build friendships, develop problem-solving and leadership skills, and learn new things in a fun environment. Please learn more about the many fantastic clubs we can offer and think about what club you would like to sponsor. Please complete the club application by Friday, 8/17/18.

Submit a Faculty Howlout!

“Faculty Howlout’s will drive our selections for Staff Member of the Week. Each week we will select one HS and one MS staff member as the Coyote Staff Member of the Week. These staff members will have their names announced on the intercom on Friday. At the end of the quarter the Staff Members of the Week will be invited to a special luncheon in their honor! We look forward to receiving numerous staff shout outs so we have many to select from each week!”

Submit a Student Howlout!

Student howlouts will drive our selections for Student of the Week. Each week we will select two HS and two MS students as the Coyotes of the Week. At the end of the week these students will be invited down to the flag pole in the center of the courtyard where we will have a Coyote Flag to be raised on Friday. These students will get the honor of raising the flag each Friday, and will have their names announced on the intercom! At the end of the quarter we will have a breakfast for all of our Students of the Week and their parents.

School News

Attention Retreat Participants!!

Those staff members that attended the Staff Retreat over the Summer will receive inservice points for participating!


Teachers, all textbooks should have been delivered to your class. If you are assigning textbooks to students this must be recorded and entered into the the textbook section of Sharepoint under the heading PLC. Any lost or misplaced items could be your responsibility if we do not have a student assigned to these materials. If there are additional resources you need, please let your PLC leader know by Monday 8/20/18. All textbook orders will be completed and finalized by Friday, 8/24

Lunch Passes & Hall Passes

Any teacher who wants a student to come to their classroom during lunch must provide that student with a pass. The pass must include the student name, date, time, and the student must show the pass every day to be able to leave the cafeteria area. As a general rule, students should not be in your classroom with you during lunch unless they are doing classwork, making up work, taking a test or quiz. If students are in your classroom during lunch, no passes are allowed to be given to those students to use the restroom or get snacks from vending machines. Students should take care of those needs during passing prior to getting to your room. Once students arrive in your classroom, they should remain there, under your supervision throughout the duration of the lunch period.
