Third Quarter- That's a Wrap!
This past month has been a whirlwind of learning, student projects, and excitement as the temperatures have risen. A few weeks ago we were treated with King and Queen candidates coming to visit us from the high school. These candidates read books to our students and it was a treat (check out the pictures shown below). This coming week we hope each of you has a relaxing, safe and fun-filled Spring Break. We can't wait to get back to learning on Tuesday, March 17!
If you find any old or outgrown kids clothing over the break our clinic staff would gladly take them off your hands. We have students from ages 3-12 and need clothing for all sizes.
We invite each of you to celebrate our students during our Third Quarter Assembly on Friday, March 20 at 3:00 pm in the Gym.

Transportation Update- Car Riders
As this year has progressed several conversations have occurred during Leadership Team, Site Council, and PTO regarding Car Rider pick up. In consideration of student safety, we will be tweaking our systems for dismissal in the near future. Here is what these changes will look like:
*Parents will remain in their vehicles and wait in the Pick Up Lane forming one line. Additional cars will follow in a single line around the far perimeter of the bus circle.
*Ms. Tanya and Berryton staff members will be outside managing the vehicle line, while additional Berryton staff will supervise students in the gym.
*At 3:50 staff will communicate via radio and have specified students come out and enter designated vehicles.
*With this new procedure we will be issuing signage to families for identification purposes. This will need to be placed in the windshield of your car at the time of pick up so that staff can clearly see it. Failure to have your family signage may result in families having to park, and go into the office to pick up student(s). If our staff does not recognize the person a photo ID will be requested to ensure student safety.
*Our goal is to begin this by April 20. We will send out a video in the coming weeks to highlight these changes in detail. Questions may be directed to Mrs. Bervert via email.
