During this time, our campus will be closed to visitors. This includes eating lunch with your student in all grade levels. Please refrain from picking your child up early on these days. Our goal is to keep the campus as calm as possible for our students. If you have a 3rd, 4th or 5th grader, please ensure that your child gets a good night's sleep, eats a good breakfast and give them an extra big hug. We are so proud of your student and cannot wait for them to show what they know!
End of Year Activities Fast Pass
A link for a Fast Pass for the End of Year activities will be sent out at the end of this week. The link will be open until Friday, May 17th. The link will not be re-opened after the 17th. This pass will be used for the last week of school events. If you or a family member, plan on enjoying End of the Year activities happening at Crockett, be sure to use the link to sign up. Each day you or a family member come to campus that week, please ensure that you have your license or state issued identification. Identification will be checked every time a visitor checks in at our campus. Please remember that the Fast Pass system helps you alleviate waiting in long lines to check in on our campus for activities.
Crockett Book Swap
Need some new books for Summer Reading? Have books at home that you've already read? Then this is for you! Bring your gently-used books and trade them in for different ones! This is how it will work:
- Bring books from home on Wednesday, May 8th.
- You may bring up to 5 books to trade and up to 5 books to donate (for those students who may not have books at home but would still like to participate).
- Please make sure your books are in good shape - not written in, torn, or dirty. Damaged books will not be accepted.
- Also, please bring books on or close to your grade level. If you bring picture books, you'll exchange for picture books; if you bring chapter books, you'll exchange for chapter books, etc. This will help keep our swap even.
- Miss Fincher will write down how many books you bring in.
- On Thursday, May 9th, you will come back to the Library and choose different books!
It's that easy - a fun way to get new books for Summer Reading!
