Word of the Year....OPTIMISM.
STUDENT COUNCIL CORNER
Our school's participation in the annual Bridge to Hope Walk was much appreciated! We had 100 students participate. Joanie Hafford earned the top honor of the greatest amount of money brought in by donations. Mrs. Fitzpatrick’s class was awarded $50 for the biggest turnout.
We are currently sponsoring a food drive in collaboration with our local Dead River Company. Collection boxes are located on our stage. Who will bring in the most? Will it be a certain grade level or our staff?
The Kitty Tree is coming back for another year. Our student council sponsors this each year with the Ark Animal Sanctuary. More details on this will follow.
This year's Halloween Parade was a huge success! Southside Student Council awarded over $300 in prizes.
