Where Curriculum and Technology Merge
Google Classroom: May 9th Edition
START HERE!
If you haven't had a chance to use Google Classroom with your students or staff, follow the step-by-step guide with screenshots HERE.
"ABOUT" Tab: Create a Resource Roundup
A great tip received from GClassroom users at MACUL 2016 is to add all of your resource links in the ABOUT Tab. This includes all videos, syllabus, websites, etc. Click on the image above to see an example.
Use "QUESTION" for Formative Assessment
The Question feature now has the option to create a Multiple Choice question in addition to a short response. On your Stream page, select the "+" then choose "?". Click on the image above to see the response options.
Embedded PD-I come to YOU!
I have supported the launch of Google Classroom in over 35 classrooms this year. All you have to do is secure the Chromebook cart for a 45 minute time-slot. During my visit we will work together to post an Announcement, Assignment, and a Question demonstrating all of the features of each. We will also explore how grading works from both the student and teacher view.
