Welcome to Week 2!

Creating Clear Sentences

Sentence Elements

All items have elements.

If creating a birthday cake, it's best to make sure all of the ingredients (elements) first. Otherwise, you're running to the store and your goal, to make a birthday cake, isn't achieved.

The same can be said for sentence structure. Knowing the elements - verb - noun - adjectives - adverbs - and how they interact help keep us from miscommunication and our goal, relaying information, is not obtained.

So, this week, we're learning some of the basic elements that will help us communicate in an effective fashion. - Nouns - Verbs - and Objects.
