Happy New Year Walsh Students and Families!
We hope you had a restful Winter Break and were able to spend time with friends and loved ones – even if that looked a little different than how you normally spend the holidays. While we had to adapt my usual traditions, we were grateful for the opportunity to let those close to me know how much we appreciate them. And, we hope you also know how much we appreciate you and your support of our school community.
As we move into the second half of the school year, please reach out to your students’ teachers or our office if you have concerns or need assistance. We value each of you and want to make sure we are supporting our Eagles’ educational, as well as social and emotional growth. May 2021 bring you much happiness, good health, and treasured memories.
Kind regards,
Chris Smith, Principal

Mr. Moore, Associate Principal

Social Emotional and COVID Resources
Hello Summit District 104 Families,
Sending this message in hopes of a prosperous New Year for all. The social work and mental health team at Summit District 104 would like to ask you to complete the Social Emotional Screener for all the children in your household by January 18th. The screener is a tool that the team is using to best support the children and families of our district. Depending on the results a social worker may be reaching out to your family. Please click the photo below to complete the SEL Screener survey.
Also, to support the children and families of Summit District 104 are the attached resources available below (click the photo) and on our website under the COVID-19 RESOURCES TAB. Please reach out to your school social worker with any questions or concerns!
Wishing all our families a Happy New Year!
