It consists of 12 states; Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Ohio, and Wisconsin. The Eastern North Central States are Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, and Wisconsin, all of which are apart of the Great Lakes region. The Western North Central States include Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota. All of which, excluding Iowa and Missouri, are located in the Great Plains region of the country. The Climate is hot and humid during the springs, summers, and falls, but the winters are cold since the region is far from the temperature-moderating effects of the oceans,
