Reminder!
Tuesday, February 22nd through Thursday March 10th
To support the mental health of our students, Parkway is offering a Care and Counseling Student Wellness Program that offers parents the opportunity to have your child participate in an emotional health check-up called Candid, which uses a nationally recognized screening tool. The mental wellness screening program for students is free, completely voluntary, and confidential. Detailed information will be emailed to families by the end of the week.

Wondering what you can do this summer to make sure you are on a strong path for college? Interested in volunteering, working or doing independent research? Want to challenge yourself by enrolling in academic enrichment programs and pre-college classes with students from across the country? Perhaps you want to spend time visiting college campuses near you and do your own research about careers, degrees and college options? Whether you are a freshman, sophomore or junior, there are opportunities for you to make your summer a productive one. Join Mentors 4 College for a brief webinar as we highlight summer opportunities for each grade level and help you get started researching which options are right for you.

Missouri Bankers Foundation
Application deadline: March 4, 2022
The Missouri Bankers Foundation provides college scholarships for graduating high school seniors who plan to pursue college studies in banking-related degree programs. Seven $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to seven high school students for their first semester tuition payment and/or college expenses.

Missouri Women's Golf Education Association Scholarship
Application deadline: March 12, 2022
Scholarships are given in recognition of overall academic record, community service activities, and leadership.

Chesterfield Regional Chamber Scholarship
Application deadline: March 25, 2022
Eligible seniors students must have engaged in community service and have received a recommendation from a non-family community member. Four $1,000 scholarships will be awarded in April 2022.

Ending the cycle of poverty is an important part of their mission. Higher education can lead to greater job opportunities and economic circumstances.
For eligibility, applicants must:
- Attend or reside within the boundaries of Parkway, Rockwood or Valley Park School Districts.
- Be a current high school senior
- Live in a household where income does not exceed 185% of the Federal Poverty level.
- Have a cumulative GPA must be 2.0 or higher.

This free event open to students and families from all neighboring school districts. There will be approximately 50 companies in attendance spanning Construction, Healthcare, IT, and more to share exciting career opportunities with paid short-term training programs (i.e., apprenticeships). This event is open to all but perfect for graduating seniors considering college alternatives.
