Happy New Year!
We've been busy at work in Student Services. With all of the recent events at our school and in our wider community, the past several months have been all about checking on our students. Doing our best to support them, help them cope, and finding ways to come back stronger, smarter, and healthier. We are unbelievably proud of our students and the resilience and strength they have shown in asking for help, and we are doing all we can to meet their needs here at school.
With the semester whizzing by, we are also helping students organize themselves and their work as the end of the semester draws near! Students - this is a great time to have conversations with your teachers about what needs to be done, and how you can finish the semester strong.
As always, see below for more information on upcoming events, post-high school programs coming to visit GHS, scholarships, and more!
From all of us, we wish you a warm and cozy winter season.

MENTAL HEALTH
WELLNESS TIP OF THE MONTH
HOW ARE YOU DOING?
Parents - if your child needs mental health support beyond what we can offer at school, our list of community supports is meant to help you find a mental health counselor for your child. You can also search for therapists in your area, that take your insurance, on www.psychologytoday.com/therapist. Still having trouble? Call your child's counselor and we are happy to make other suggestions.
Check out the resources below for additional mental health crisis supports.
