Classroom Expectations

For Starters

1. I want to have fun in the classroom, but understand that chaos is not fun for teachers.

2. Please arrive on time to class. We only have X Minutes together, so I will need to get the ball rolling as soon as possible.

3. Cell phones do not bother me, but there will be many parts of class where you will not be able to text as well as listen to the lecture.

4. You are in high school, and I realize that. I will not act as your parent. Be responsible, take notes, and do the homework, and you should be fine.

Plagiarism is defined as the practice of taking someones work or ideas and passing them off as your own. This is wrong, to be quite frank. If a student is caught plagiarizing in my classroom, the assignment will be graded as a zero with minimal opportunity to make up that single grade. It is not hard to find plagiarism, so doing this is a big risk. Please keep that in mind as you work on projects in the classroom.
