NHS student finalist in Boys & Girls Clubs Youth of the Year competition
Normandy High School senior Da’Nija Jones has made it to the final four in the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater St. Louis Youth of the Year competition.
The 17-year-old was selected by a panel of judges and competed against 14 other youth from around the St. Louis area to be named a finalist. The award is the highest honor a Boys & Girls Club member can receive and a signature national youth recognition program that celebrates the recipient’s contributions to their family, school, community, and their Boys & Girls Club.

JEGB President Completes Fellows Program
JEGB President William Humphrey recently completed the Neighborhood Leadership Fellows Program, an advanced leadership training program of UMSL, MU Extension, and the St. Louis Promise Zone-St. Louis Economic Development Partnership.
The mission of Neighborhood Leadership Fellows (NLF) is to increase and amplify the voices of North St. Louis City and County residents at the civic decision-making tables in order to produce more equitable regional policies for neighborhoods.

Daily Health Check: Parents please perform daily health checks on your students prior to sending them to school. This will help stop the spread of COVID in our schools. The Daily Health Check list is available here or at the COVID Return to Learn section of the website. The document is also posted below this article.
Chromebooks: All students need to bring their Chromebooks to school daily. If Chromebooks are broken or in need of repair, please return them to your child's school.

Free COVID Testing
NSC is offering free saliva-based COVID-19 testing at the Normandy Early Learning Center via a partnership with Washington University. COVID testing is available at a special drive-through clinic.
