Graham Family News
March 1-5
Hellow Grizzly Families!!
We are so excited to have our all of our students back in the building this week with the return of our 4th and 5th graders! It has been a long time coming and we couldn't have done it without the support of our parentst and work of our teachers. A couple of things to remember:
- For safety, visitors will not be allowed on campus
- Be sure your student has their ipad fully charged and all school materials kept in their backpack. This will be traveling back and forth with them. Think of it as a portable locker
- A rain jacket and rainboots are highly advised for recess. They will be going outdoors for a 30minute recess on the days they are here.
- Classroom Treats-For safety, we will not be able to bring treats to share with classmates. Thank you for understanding.
Important Dates
March 1: 4th/5th graders return to in-person learning
March 3: School Pictures-4:30-7:00pm
March 22-26: Spring Conferences (more info to come)
April 5-9: Spring Break
Mask Update
For the safety of all students and staff, Bethel follows the CDC guidlelines and reccomendations.
Per CDC: A cloth face covering is fabric that covers your nose and mouth. It can be:
A sewn mask with ties or straps that go around the head or behind the ears
Several layers of fabric tied around a person’s head
Made from breathable fabrics, like cotton
Factory-made or home-made
CDC recommends the following types of masks:
Non-medical disposable masks
Masks that fit properly (snugly around the nose and chin with no large gaps around the sides of the face)
Masks made with breathable fabric
Masks made with tightly woven fabric
Masks with two or three layers
Mask with inner filter pockets
CDC does not recommend the following:
Masks that do not fit properly (large gaps, too loose or too tight)
Masks made from materials that are difficult to breathe through
Masks made from loosely woven fabric or that are knitted
Masks with one layer
Masks with exhalation valves or vents
As most gaiters and bandanas do not typically fit the above criteria, the district will be asking staff and students to use at least a cloth face covering that meets the requirements above OR a disposable face mask/dust mask. Accommodations for those who cannot wear masks can be made on a case by case basis.

Arrival & Dismissal: It might take some extra time as we get the routines smooth, so consider that as you plan your morning
In-person Arrival Time: 11:05-11:15 Students in seats, ready to learn.
Dismissal Time: 3:50 Students escorted to their departure destination-This may take a few minutes and we thank you for your patience.
Save time in parent pick-up and ride the bus. There is plenty of room to spread out.
Private Vehicle Transported Students- All personal vehicles are required to use the parent loop and adults are to remain in the vehicle. In order for this to run smoothly, we ask that your student have everything in their bag and ready to hop out of their vehicle upon entering the loop.
We will have all of our staff outside supporting students upon arrival and exit.
Again, parents/guardians are to remain in their vehicles for before and after school pick-up. This will help us meet our health department guidelines so our students can continue in-person learning.
Walkers- when you arrive on campus, you will have a staff member giving you directions to ensure social distancing. It is important to follow those directions so you can return to in person learning. Once students reach our tiny west parking lot, any persons accompanying students will need to remain there at that point. Only students will be able to continue further. We will have all staff outside for arrival and dismissal to ensure student safety and support.
School Pictures are Here!!
March 3rd from 4:30 to 7pm! B&B Picture will be set up in our gym for you to bring your students in for professional pictures.
Here is the process:
Drive into the bus loop and stay in your car.
A runner will come out to your car and invite you into the gym for your session.
You will return to your car and head home, SO EASY!
B&B will sanitize the area for the next customer and we will see the next person in line!
