Parent's Night Out RESCHEDULED
This event is back and with some extra's thanks to the MTRS senior class! Drop off your elementary age children at MTRS January 6th starting at 4:00-7:45 for games, crafts, pizza and snacks and a movie in the auditorium (featuring Ice Age). This event is free, but donations are accepted and will go to the senior class. And don't forget to visit our sponsors Posada Grill for dinner! The Hilltown Scout Camp: February Camp "Animals in Winter"
The Hilltown Scout Camp is back! Winter, for most animals, means implementing different strategies to survive the winter conditions. During this vacation program students will learn about different local animals and the different strategies they use. Students in grades K-6 from across the district come together in a safe and educational environment to explore our campus and learn together. Students will have a balance of outdoor exploration, hands-on learning activities, and free time to enjoy art, games, and other activities.
This program is offered at MTRS from 8:30-3:30. The cost is $30 per day or $150 for the week. To register, please complete the form below. Priority is given first to people who enroll for the whole week, but people can enroll by day.
Elementary Robotics: Fridays
This program is back and with some new materials to keep experienced students engaged. Mrs. Woof will be using the new Lego Mindstorm robots in addition to the original ones that can be bot battled. Also, students can try out the 3D printer and a new car robot that uses Python coding for the more advanced students.
This class is offered on Fridays starting January 13th and it ends March 17th (We are NOT meeting Feb. 10th, 9 classes total). This class meets in room 171 afterschool and ends at 5:30. The cost is $30 per student. To enroll complete the enrollment form below.
Elementary Minecraft Club: Thursdays
Minecraft Education Edition is a game-based learning platform that teaches coding through project-based learning that engages students in collaboration and problem-solving. This program is open to students in grades 3-6 and starts January 12th and ends March 16th (9 classes total). The program costs $30. To enroll please complete the enrollment form below.
