College Signing Day
Michelle Obama created a College Signing Day on May 1st for schools to rally around students who have committed to higher education. While traditionally College Signing Day was a celebration saved for high school athletes recruited to college, Ms. Obama wanted to give all students the pomp and circumstance surrounding the decision to further one’s education. Our seniors celebrated college signing day on May 1st with a special guest, an announcement of the scholarship offers, and the opportunity for students to sign the logo of the college they will be attending in the fall.
