DIY PD...Just Under 5 Minutes!
Who knew Discovery Education (DE) was more than BoardBuilder and videos? Did you know there is a PD section with practical instructional strategies that can be used in any content area and most every grade in our school? I recently had a chance to view these strategies. Remember the snowball fight in the PARCC PD in February? I grabbed the idea from DE's Spotlight on Strategies (S.O.S.).
Each strategy has a one or two page PDF page with directions for implementing the strategy. And even better, there are short videos explaining the strategies.
