PTA Read-a-Thon for Gables Students
Our read-a-thon starts Monday December 20, 2021. Instructions on how to activate your reader's personal page - where you view and record their progress - were sent home this week.
Kindle Fires will be awarded to the top reader in each grade level.
Anyone that reads over 200 minutes will receive a t-shirt be entered into a drawing for an iPad.
We hope EVERYONE participates. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the PTA at gablesgators@gmail.com.
Winter Break Activities
Pastries with the Principal featured a dicussion with Principal Jill Lausch and the Family Ambassador Jeri Seabaugh about ways to keep our learners busy (in healthy ways) over the Winter Break.

Acceptance is the ability to see that other people have a right to be their own unique person. That means they have a right to their own feelings, thoughts and opinions.
When you start accepting people for who they are, you stop looking for ways to change them.
