A Message from Ms. Bryant
I want to take a few minutes to thank each of you who are doing the very hard work to keep your children engaged in school We know this is different, more challenging, and takes a lot more work on your part! We appreciate your support for your children's schooling and the value you are placing on education by the act of ensuring your children are on their live lessons on Google Meet and doing their homework. We see this, we see you, we know that you are putting in lots of extra effort!
We appreciate your flexibility as WE also figure out what is working and reevaluating when something isn't working or could be better! For instance, we, as a district, realized that all of this takes more planning time than normal so we reconfigured our Wednesdays for teachers. We are still committed to students getting their state mandated/district supported learning time so we've created a schedule that is as close to students regular schedules as possible. Our focus was to be the least disruptive to our hard fought for learning and scheduling as possible. Each of your teachers has shared a new WEDNESDAYS only schedule with some slight changes. Please make sure you are aware of the slight changes to students' schedules for your children. We truly appreciate this effort.
We will not be doing our annual Turkey Bingo this year but have something special planned for a virtual Holiday Bingo before we go out for the longer winter break. AES families will be invited and more information will be coming soon! Santa may even make a virtual visit to our kiddos! Stay tuned for more information!
We love our families so much and think of you each day. Our staff is doing everything we can do to maintain some sense of normalcy while staying safe and healthy. Please continue to do the same.
Stay safe, healthy, wear a mask, and socially distance. Enjoy the holiday season coming up in a safe way.
Love,
Ms. Bryant
