Walk in my shoes
Proposal for our eTwinning activities
Stage
11-14 year old students
Objectives
- Learn new vocabulary and expressions in Spanish
- Learn cultural aspects of another country
- Improve your ICT skills
- Improve your communication and interpersonal skills
Description
Planning:
- Find our partner schools, discuss the activities each school will propose, agree on a calendar and deadlines and work on a plan.
Working with students:
- Our project's name is "Walk in my Shoes".
- We will propose 2 activities and students will work in international groups. Everyone in the group will have a role (leader, resource manager...) which they will have to choose.
- Students will use the TwinSpace to communicate with each other. We will also embed a Padlet board.
- In teams, students have to create activites to learn new vocabulary about shoes. They will need to decide which words and translate them using each other's help.
- The activity can be created using Quizlet, Learning Apps, Kahoot or any other website they know.
- Once they finish the activity, it will be uploaded in the TwinSpace so that they can do each other's activities.
Main activity:
- Students are still working in teams. This time they will have to design a pair of shoes and use recycled materials to create them.
- They can even improve their products by adding lights or sound to them.
- Final products to be presented in an e-book (Issuu) published on TwinSpace and school website.
Assessment:
- We will create a rubric (Google Forms) for students to self assess their work.
- We will also get feedback from them to improve these activities in the future.

Assessment
We will use Google Forms to assess our students' learning. This will enable us to have an overview of their learning and they can give us feedback about the activity as well. This is a first draft of the form:
Optional: If students achieve 50% or more, we can award them a badge.
