Check This Out! Tree-Carved "A" Now Featured!

The next time you are driving by Argyle High School or leaving the campus, look right next to the school marquee. There is a tree carving of a giant capital "A" for Argyle. This "A" was carved into the stump of a dead tree that the Argyle ISD maintenance department recently cut down.

This is all the impressive handy work of new Argyle ISD maintenance supervisor Gustavo Perez, who sculpted this in about 20 minutes with a chainsaw. Gustavo started in the district just a few months ago and has done stump sculptors before including one at his home and his last district in Calliburg.
