Home and School Connection, Week of May 11-15
A Note from Mrs. Buckels
I hope all of the moms out there had a happy Mother's Day!
Thank you for making all our teachers feel so appreciated last week! I know they enjoyed all the kind words, gifts and videos from their students. We would also like you to know how much we appreciate all you have done to help your child continue their learning during this school closure.
We are on the countdown to the end of school. We only have 13 days left. Please read through this newsletter carefully and check out the flyers for some of our end of the year opportunities.
We hope to see you all on Wednesday, May 13th from 4:00-5:30 p.m. for our Reverse Car Parade. Our teachers will be lining the driveway at Parr and you can come drive through and say hi! Please enter on Coleman Boyle(off of 96) and exit at Highway 3. We will have a box available for you to drop off library/guided reading books. We will also have boxes out in front of school during the next two weeks between 10-2 for you to drop off books.
Next week's work will be available on it's Learning on Monday morning. Don't forget to check out the other courses that your child has access to-PE, Art, Music, Library and our Parr page.
In this S'more, you will find videos for each day of the week with the morning announcements if you would like to start your student's day with these. You can access them from this S'more or from our Parr it's learning page. We will also have a Workout Wednesday video from Coach Henderson.
Don't forget our technology department has a helpline that is now available for any issues you may be having! The number is 281-284-0500. They are available M-F from 8:00-4:00.
