Sargent Sunday Scoop

Message From Ms. Biordi
I hope everyone had a restful and enjoyable Thanksgiving break. Among all of the things I have to be grateful for this Thanksgiving season, becoming the principal Sargent, and working with all the stakeholders in the Sargent community, is certainly at the top of the list! We have a few more weeks of academics before we head into winter recess. The Turkey Trot was so much fun! Thank you to everyone who volunteered to help make the event run smoothly. Reading Your Students iReady Diagnostic Report
Enclosed with your student's report card this year will be a print out of their Q1 iReady diagnostic report. iReady is a benchmark assessment tool we use for reading and math. Teachers use this data to help inform their instruction and the goal is for each student to show continued growth in the program over the course of the school year. Below is a video guide that will help parents understand how to read the report. If you have questions, feel free to contact your student's teacher.
