We hope you will enjoy this form of communication, and that you find it to be timely and informative! Any suggestions for improvement are welcome!
Thank You for Helping Make This Year's 3v3 a Success!
This year we decided that it would be fun to have some of our older players coaching our teams - and it couldn't have been more fun! Thank you to all of the girls who gave of their time and soccer expertise to coach this weekend!
Many, many pictures were snapped throughout the weekend - especially on Sunday when things got really messy (it was a tad muddy out there)! Click on the button below to peruse the photos from the two-day tournament.
Thank you to all of the parents for helping us to support this important cause! We truly appreciate your dedication as you made sure you players were where they needed to be this weekend!
Fall practices begin this week and run through the week of November 3rd.
Please double-check your practice times and locations, and be sure to arrive on time and prepared to play! Don't forget to let your team's Parent Coordinator know if you have a conflict so he or she may inform your coach!
We look forward to seeing you on the fields this week!

Welcome Coach Jack Filla!
Filla, a native of St. Louis, is a recent addition to the STLFC roster as goalkeeper. As a student at Fort Zumwalt North High School, he was a 4 year varsity starter. After graduating, Filla played two seasons at Lewis and Clark Community College in Illinois where in 2013 he helped lead the team to its first national appearance since 1989 and a sixth place finish.
Filla was a two-time Regional Goalkeeper of the Year and a Second-Team NSCAA All-American in 2014. He returned to Missouri and played for two years at the University of Missouri St. Louis, playing all but 10 minutes of those two seasons. He was an All-GLVC selection and a First-Team NSCAA All-Midwest selection in 2016. All of these experiences have lead Filla to record 6804 minutes in net with a 43-25-7 record and 24 shutouts.
Welcome to the club, Coach Filla!
Thank You for Sharing Your Photos!
Thank you to all who shared their experiences from the 3v3 tournament by uploading your photos to your team's Google Photo album! We were able to take some of those shots and post them in our album on Facebook!
Our plan is to pull photos from these galleries throughout the year and share on social media and through this newsletter. The Google photo galleries will help us to keep track of which photos come from which teams! Thank you so much for your help and participation!
