Principal's Message
Dear Students and Families,
As we begin the second semester, I would like to share an update on how we are doing as a school within the hybrid learning format.
I have been so impressed by what I am seeing from our students, faculty, and staff.
- In-person students are doing an excellent job with wearing masks, social distancing, and following all health and safety procedures.
- In-person and Virtual Learning Academy (VLA) students are participating in engaging and rigorous learning activities.
- Teachers are doing a tremendous job planning and recreating how they teach students within in-person and remote settings.
- School Counselors, Psychologists, and our Social Worker have been doing a wonderful job facilitating the student course selection process for next school year as well as supporting our students' social and emotional wellness.
- Support staff are working hard to support the learning, procedures, and operations in our school.
- School Nurses have done an incredible job completing the mandated student and staff testing and keeping the our school community safe.
- Custodians have been doing a great job maintaining clean and safe building facilities.
Our school is safe for students and staff, and we have the ability to teach and reinforce the importance of being safe in school, at home, and in our community. Students and staff are wearing masks, social distancing, and washing hands frequently.
Despite the challenges of hybrid learning, our in-person students are benefiting from in-school learning experiences. In-person students are being safe and experiencing the learning, social, and emotional benefits of attending in-person school.
The faculty and staff have been so excited to have students back in school. You can feel the positive energy and Blue Devil spirit in our school!
Please call the school counseling center if you are interested in requesting an enrollment change to hybrid learning! Thank you for your continued support.
Sincerely,
Mr. Johnson
