Types of Consciousness
By Cynthia Moya (:
Subconscious
When we sleep and dream at night, we mainly use our subconscious. It is a state of mind where we are not fully aware of our surroundings or actions. (Daydreaming).
The subconscious holds all of our experiences and memories, thus affecting our pattern of behavior and thoughts more than we think.
Conscious
Being conscious is being in the state of mind in which we are fully aware of what is happening around us or to us. This is the mindset we use when we actually make decisions. It allows us to analyze environmental surroundings with our senses. However, if you only rely on the conscious mind without taking the subconscious thoughts into consideration, you may find yourself to be a tad bit indecisive.
Superconscious
This is what we refer to as, "our soul." It is the aspect of our being that exists before we are born, and survives our death. It holds the knowledge about reincarnation and all those super fun controversial life topics. It helps us gain insight about ourselves, allowing a gateway to open for a happier life.
