April 2022

April is National Poetry Month and the celebration of National Library Week!

Can you believe that we are so close to summer? So many things need to happen between now and then- banquets, awards ceremonies, final tests, and projects. Please come into the library to find you a book or two to read. We will be closing the library the 2nd week of May so that we can complete inventory and collect all of our books. I have had so much fun with all of the activities and things happening this year in the library and our amazing school. Looking forward to finishing strong and having a great end to the school year.

About Mrs. Harper

I am the librarian at BBJH. This is my 4th year in the library and my 21st year in education. I have taught science, ELA and I was an academic advisor at The University of Tulsa. I am originally from Oklahoma--graduated from Comanche High School and Oklahoma City University. I graduated with my Master's Degree in Library & Information Science from SHSU in August 2020. I'm married to Joe, I'm Grady and Whitney's mom, and I have three awesome dogs- Gus, Chief and Maggie. I love to watch sports, listen to music, run and hike with my dogs, read books, discover new technology tools and travel.
