Back to School Night (Thursday, September 15)
Please join us on us for our Back to School Night this coming Thursday. It will take place from 6 to 7:30 PM. The program will begin in the gym and then you will be able to visit your child's classrooms as we follow their day from class period to class period. We hope to see you there!
ATTENDANCE LINE: 509-558-4950
After School Arrangements
Please make arrangements with your child before school as to their afternoon transportation plans. Due to the number of students in the building, it is not always easy to get messages to students throughout the day. This will also help alleviate disruptions to class times.
School Hours and Late Start Thursday Information
Arrival -
Students will not be allowed in the school building until 7:45 (8:45 on Thursdays).
Dismissal -
Students are to leave school grounds upon dismissal at 2:40 unless they are involved in school sports or other school related after hours activities. If you are picking your child up, we ask that you arrive as close to 2:40 as possible to lessen the number of students on campus.
IMPORTANT PARENT PICK UP GUIDELINES
When picking students up in the parent pick up lot at the east side of the school, please pull forward and pick up from the curb only. We want to ensure everyone makes it to their ride safely and efficiently.
Student Pictures
Leos's Photography will be at HMS this Thursday, September 15, to take this year's student pictures. You should have received information regarding how to order in your child's first day of school packet. If for any reason your child does not have their picture take Thursday, retakes will happen on Thursday, October 20th.
