STUDENT COUNCIL APPLICATIONS DUE AUGUST 23RD
Do you want to make a difference at your school? Join Student Council!
What is Student Council (StuCo)?
StuCo is a school organization consisting of student members and elected members by their peers to represent them, speak for them, and act for them. StuCo is an effective way for developing student leaders.
Who is the adviser? Ms. Anderson (kailaanderson@hebisd.edu)
Who can be a member? Anyone can be a member as long as they meet the requirements.
To be a representative of this council, there are certain responsibilities. The first and most important priority is that you are a positive leader in this school and you demonstrate good character.
This year we are going to have class officers for each grade level!
If you have any questions please email Ms. Anderson.
Applications are due August 23rd!
7th GRADE SOCIAL
The BJH Student Council is Hosting a 7th Grade Social on Friday, August 27 from 6:00-8:00 pm for all 7th Grade students!
This will be an opportunity for all seventh grade students to socialize with their new classmates outside of the structured classroom. We will have music, games, and light refreshments in the cafeteria. Students must be enrolled at Bedford Junior High as a 7th grader to attend. Dress code will be enforced and student ID is required for admittance.
Admission will be canned food items since the Black vs Blue food drive begins August 30!
This annual event is a partnership between the school district and 6Stones to replenish community food banks. Bedford JH takes pride in winning the food drive almost every year, especially since the idea came from a 7th grade BJH student back in 2011. http://www.6stones.org/2015/allison-the-wins-that-matter/
