As we continue to prepare for the beginning of our school year please visit the school's website, our FaceBook and Instagram pages for information related to the start of school. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, information is constantly changing and we will dispense information to our website as well as the social media sites as soon as we get new information.

Staff Announcements:
Please do not park in the back of the school, on the bus lane. We have district teams working on repairs to the building and we may have to use the bus lanes for student device deployment. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

Message from AFT:
Clarification: On virtual days, certified personnel do not report to the school. There are five virtual days listed on the calendar (October 12, 13, 14, November 3rd, and April 2nd). On virtual days, you should have connectivity and be available to students. On the other work days you will report to your building. Below is a link to work calendars for all employees. https://www.okcps.org/Page/2855.
Guidelines for Bringing Children to Work:
In addition to adhering to the terms outlined in the Agreement, each employee/parent will be responsible for any discipline and for ensuring that they and their child(ren) follow all the rules and procedures for keeping their child(ren), themselves, and others safe.
Below are the eligibility requirements for children to participate in this arrangement as of August 31st:
Children must be between the ages of 4 -12 years of age
Employee/parent must be the parent or legal guardian of the child
Children must be currently enrolled in OKCPS. This is due to increased liability and also in compliance with state law.
If a child is not currently enrolled at OKCPS, district employees may request an emergency transfer into an OKCPS school utilizing this form. Both Traditional/Remote and e3 Online Learning options are available to employees wishing to bring your children into the district.
All full-time, regular employees classified as support, certified or pro tech are eligible for this arrangement. Those who do not work at a school-site will work with the school their child attends to attain drop-off and pick-up procedures. Our teams will do our best to accommodate your needs while balancing safety and staffing levels.
If, after reviewing this new information, you would like to bring your child(ren) to work with you once the school year begins, please do the following:
Step 1: Discuss bringing your child to work with your supervisor.
Step 2: If approved, notify OKCPS of your intent to bring your child to work here: Intent to Bring your Child to Work
Step 3: Closely review and sign the "OKCPS Children in the Workplace" documents and submit to your supervisor.
