NWEA Testing

FJH will be conducting NWEA testing on Tuesday, August 16th (Reading) 9:15am-11:15am and Thursday, August 9th(Math), 9:15am-11:15am. Please have students arrive on time to school with their fully charged iPad. If possible, avoid appointments during this time. We will be operating on an alternate schedule on these two days.

Congratulations to our science department who was selected to receive the Science News Magazine due to our school’s continued success in Regional and State Science Fair competitions and our STEM opportunities offered to underserved student populations.

Picture Day

If you were not able to make it Preview Day, make-up pictures will occur on Wednesday, August 24th. Retakes will occur on Tuesday, October 25th.

The first PTO meeting of the school year is scheduled for Wednesday, August 17, at 8:00 a.m. at the school. All parents/guardians of FJH students are welcome to attend.

Concession Stand Volunteers Needed

Fall sports are in full swing and games and matches begin next week! We need volunteers to work both the outdoor and indoor concession stands, depending on the day and sport. This is just a reminder for parents. We understand our school hours have increased the need to pick up students for appointments during the school day. We would appreciate a note or call to the office in the morning before the pickup. This helps us get your student to the office so you don't have to wait and eliminates disruptions to classrooms. If your student still needs immunizations to be compliant by the September 1 deadline, please contact the Fishers Health Department. FHD has appointments available now, so please schedule as soon as possible. Don't wait until 8/26 to register and schedule an appointment.

News From Mudsock Youth Athletics:

It’s Basketball Time!

Registration for our recreational basketball programs for both boys and girls is officially open with waitlists forming after August 31st. Register now at The leagues welcome athletes in Kindergarten through 8th grade. The girls season runs from November through early March. Boys (K) play January through March, (1st - 6th) November through March, and (7th/8th) January through March. Find the girls basketball information packet here. Scholarship Program

Everyone plays. Mudsock Youth Athletics offers full and partial registration scholarship opportunities to children who qualify for free or reduced lunch within the Hamilton Southeastern School District.
