Language Arts Skills:
High Frequency Words – he, the, we, me
Print Awareness – where do we start reading, word by word matching
Nouns – person, place, thing, animal
Writer’s Notebook – generating ideas for writing and labeling (a label gives the reader information about a picture)
2D Shapes – identify and describe 2 attributes

Science/Social Studies Skills:
Flipped classroom or flip teaching is a form of blended learning in which students learn new content online by watching video lectures, usually at home, and what used to be homework (assigned problems) is now done in class with teachers offering more personalized guidance and interaction with students, instead of lecturing.

*Library – Please have your child return his/her library book in the BIG baggie provided by the library ladies.
