Implementation of math work stations
So as you all know one of our academic goals for this year is to increase math achievement. We selected math work stations as a process and practice to address this goal. Earlier this fall we had Dian Alston lead professional development on this topic with an expectation that we would begin implementation within classrooms.
It is encouraging that since that time many of you have "given it a go" and have solicited input from Cindy Sommers.
Event Information
Math Professional development
We have dedicated two days in January (Tuesday 6th) and (Wednesday 7th) to meet with grade levels. We will meet with three grade levels each day for a total of 75 minutes. Subs will be provided.
In an effort to prepare for this time please bring artifacts of your math work stations in action this year. We will learn with and from each other about what is working to meet the math instructional needs of our students.
