BURLESON ELEMENTARY 2020-2021

Burleson Elementary 2020-2021

A NOTE FROM MRS. COFFMAN

We are excited to share with you a small peek into our new campus and character education! A HUGE thank you to Mr. Dover, our school board, and the work of our previous mayor, Ellie Breedlove on bringing about changes to our physical environment. Also, a special thanks to Mrs. Autry and her artistic skills in drawing special quotes and characters on our walls. Many of the staff spent the months from March - August up here painting the walls to create a positive learning environment for all. We wanted the students to enter back into school from our extended break and feel an overwhelming feeling of happiness and joy! We are blessed to have such a dedicated staff that will do anything to make our school an engaging and motivating atmosphere. The video showcases all of our student leadership team members, plus a few extra, and the awesome changes to our campus including new glass doors to the entryway, floors, playground, and painted walls. It takes a village and we have the best village ever! I am so proud of the passion, dedication, and commitment to excellence our district has for our students!

Second, the mayor, Riggin, has spent time traveling around the community sharing his ideas and asking for donations. He is working hard to build the community spirit and showcase the wonderful activities and learning taking place in Meadow ISD! He visited with the fire department and did an excellent job representing our school!

Thank you for all your support from home. It takes a team between home and school to provide the best education possible! We are thankful for you and your amazing children!

(Thank you to all the teachers on the student leadership team for creating this video!)
