WELCOME TO ISLAM
FOLLOW THE FIVE PILLARS
Mosque
This is the place where we worship. There is no official creed to be Muslim. Muslims are the followers of Islam. The Muslim has to believe and recite the Shahada. We believe that there is no God but God. We believe in after life like heaven or hell. Humans have the free will to obey and serve God.
Prayer and the Five Pillars
We pray to communicate with our God. We pray five times a day. At dawn, mid-morning, afternoon, sunset, and at bedtime the Muslims pray to Allah, their God. The five pillars include shahada (confessional of faith), salat (daily prayer), zakat (alms tax), sawm (fasting during Ramadan), and haji (pilgrimage to Mecca).
