Parliament House
- Parliament House is meeting place of the Parliament of Australia located in Canberra, the capital of Australia
- Costing more than 1.1 billion AUD it was the most expensive building of the time of its construction
- The construction started in 1981 and was completed in 1988
Uluru (Ayers Rock)
- Uluru also known as Ayers Rock is a large sandstone rock formation in the central part of Australia.
- Uluru is sacred to the Anangu, the Aboriginal people of the area
- Is one of the most recognisable natural lankmarks in Australia
- It stands 348m high and has a circumference of 9.4km
Sydney Harbour Bridge
- The Sydney Harbour Bridge is a steel through arch bridge across Sydney Harbour
- Carries rail, vehicular, bicycle and pedestrian between the CBD and the North Shore
- Total length-1149m, Width-49m, Height- 134m, Clearance below- 49
- The construction began in 1923 and was completed in 1932
Sport
Australia has had great success of the past few years in sport. For Example: 2013 Rugby League World Cup, 2013-14 Ashes tournament against England. And also with us competing in the 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London and 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Sochi
