Plan a Funeral – Bid a Fitting Goodbye
Each and every person born on the Earth is bound to die one day or another. It is an inevitable occurrence that cannot be avoided. Yet no one would like to lose a loved one or a friend or a family member. Planning a funeral is one of the things that can be emotionally very difficult. Some people plan their funerals and express their desire as to how they want their funeral to be organised. This saves them the worry of how they would be treated after they are dead and ease the burden on the organising relative to have the arrangements pre planned. One should simply need to execute the plans.
As with the tradition some people would like to have a religious funeral while some would like it to be more of a personal affair. It is up to the belief of the deceased and all those near and dear to the deceased as to how the funeral should be organised. The funeral service cost would vary depending on what is being planned for the funeral and how it is being planned.
The Paper Work and The Legal Formalities Should be Completed Properly
The state laws of several parts of the world make it mandatory to register the death of the deceased with the local governing body. A doctor should certify the death of a person along with the cause of the death. If the person’s death has occurred at home then the family doctor can issue the certificate based on the findings. If the person dies of a disease at the hospital or due to injuries from an accident then doctor who treated the person at the hospital can certify the same.
If the cause of death cannot be ascertained then the police should be called to investigate the case and ascertain the death of the person. Post mortem formalities would need to be completed before the disposal of the body. If the body needs to be preserved until the formalities are over. Once the formalities are completed the funeral can be organised.
Plan In an Organised Manner For The Funeral
The casket, the vault lining, the service for the funeral, the flowers for the room, the guest list and everything needs to be planned. This can be arranged with a funeral home that will assign a funeral director who can coordinate with the organising person and then arrange for the same.
The funeral costs can be effectively curbed if quotes are taken from several funeral homes and compared. It can also be brought down if one does not let funeral directors to push them into arranging for things that are not mandatory. One should remember that funeral homes and funeral directors are in the business to make money.
If the deceased has made explicit any desires as to how the funeral should be organised then those wishes should be taken into consideration and the funeral be arranged accordingly. One can do that much to organise a fitting farewell.
