Most iPad issues can be solved with these tips.

Force an App to Close

  1. Double-tap the Home button.
  2. Swipe the app's preview up to close it.

Reset the Wi-Fi Connection

  1. Tap Settings > Wi-Fi and locate the Wi-Fi network to which you're connected.
  2. Tap and Forget this Network.
  3. Tap Settings > Wi-Fi and turn Wi-Fi off and on.
  4. Try to connect to your desired Wi-Fi network.
    Note: You may need to enter your Wi-Fi password again if your network requires one.

Restart your iPad

  1. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button on the top of your device until the red slider appears.
  2. Drag the slider to the right to turn your device completely off.
  3. To turn the device back on, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button again until you see the Apple logo.

Reset your iPad

You should reset your device as a last resort and only if you can't restart it.

  1. To reset, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.
  2. To turn the device back on, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button again until you see the Apple logo.
