Is it Safe to Eat at Chipotle?
The popular Mexican food chain isn't giving an official "yes" to eat there. In Minnesota it has affected 70 people with Salmonella in just September. 43 Chipotle's closed because of this outbreak. The re-opened following a deep cleanings and inspections by official health inspectors.

Salmonella is a bacterium that occurs mainly in the intestine, especially a stereotype causing food poising.
Symptoms of Salmonella
- Nausea
- Vomiting
- Abdominal Cramps
- Diarrhea
- Fever
- Chills
- Headache
- Blood in stool
What Caused this Outbreak?
According to the Minnesota Health Department, the cause of the outbreak was tomatoes. Chipotle switched suppliers and the officials are still trying to figure out which farm the tomatoes came from
