STUCO at Kiwanis Luncheon.
Mr. Arritt and Ms. Thompson took three Student Council members to the Kiwanis Luncheon today to speak to them about our school. Lupita, Alex, and Natalie did an amazing job, and represented our school well! They were all very eloquent, and really helped the audience understand what it means to be a Phoenix, and what makes Mt. Meet the Staff: Math!
Scott Heins
Scott Heins teaches Mathematics and Agri-Science at MHHS. Mr. Heins is in his sixth year at MHHS. Previously Mr. Heins taught in Oakley, Idaho. Mr. Heins lives in the Mini-Cassia area with his family and his menagerie. His hobbies include reading, snow and water sports, flying, Civil Air Patrol, farming and horses. Three words Mr. Heins chooses to describe himself as are cowboy, hard-worker, and a dedicated father.
Travis Kent
Travis Kent teaches Mathematics at MHHS. Mr. Kent is in his fifth year working with our students; previously he worked as an engineer for BMPC, HP Computing and the INL. Mr. Kent lives in the Mini-Cassia area with his family. Three words Mr. Kent uses to describe himself are creative, chaotically organized, and pragmatic. Great to have you with us Travis Kent!
David Repke
David Repke is in his fourth year of teaching Mathematics at MHHS. Previously he was a Hall Director at University of Montana Western. Mr. Repke lives in the Mini-Cassia area with his family. His hobbies include outdoor actives, sports, coaching middle school basketball, music and traveling. Three words Mr. Repke would describe himself as are sarcastic, intelligent and honorable.

Hispanic Youth Symposium: September 17, 2018

Jay Gaza: September 10-14, 2018
Mr. Garza is currently a senior at MHHS. He is a successful student, a responsible administrative assistant and a positive influence on his peers and friends. Mr. Garza's Senior Project is on Becoming a Police Officer! Mr. Garza's peers describe him as friendly, kind and willing to listen with a sympathic ear. Congratulations Mr. Jay Garza!
Taylor Cantu: September 17-21, 2018
Taylor Cantu is a self-described artist, adventurer and a super creative person. Ms. Cantu attends MHHS and says, "Going to school prepares me to go on after high school. I am getting excited to start my Senior Project!" Ms. Cantu's Senior Project covers photography and a career pursuing the art of taking pictures. Congratulations Ms. Cantu!
