Message from Administration
Dear Tuscany Heights Elementary Parents,
NO SCHOOL MONDAY, October 4, 2017
Staff Members have professional development trainings 8am-4pm.
Our students have been working hard this month on taking a KINDNESS STAND! All of our students took a pledge, We CHOOSE KINDNESS, as part of a recent Guidance Lesson. School wide our students and staff are participating in a book study on the books Wonder or We're All Wonders (books vary based on grade levels). We are thrilled to incorporate painting kindness rocks during Art class this month as well. With the kindness rocks, we are going to create a kindness path in front of our school. Talk to your students about their experiences and help us encourage kindness. Taking a pledge is the easy part, but sharing KINDNESS is showing true leadership. We love our boys and girls! We look forward to helping them understand the importance of kindness and understanding that KINDNESS CONTINUES. It isn't just this month!
Thank you to our Librarian, Jean Ann Johnson for this GRAND IDEA!
Thank you to our Counselors, Heidi Staples & Jana Sensat for educating our students on the impact they can make!
Thank you to all of our staff for continuing kindness conversations and modeling for our students throughout the day!
Thank you to Mrs. Rodriguez and Mrs. Hunt-Patty for helping our students paint rocks!
Thank you to the Sessions Family for donating our rocks!
Thank you to our volunteers and families for your endless support!
We have so many staff and parent volunteers involved in leading this "Choose Kindness" stand here at Tuscany Heights Elementary. Each one of you can support our plan to make an impact this month on the significance of our words and interactions with others. More information can be found in the Counselor's Corner Smore Link below.
Choose Kindness,
Tara Bailey
