1st PTO Meeting of the Schoolyear!

Our first PTO meeting is Wednesday, August 29, at 9 am. The meeting will be held in Tulley's Den (aka school cafeteria.) Avoid long security check-in lines. RSVP here.


Mrs. Beninga will be the guest speaker. The agenda for our first meeting also includes a tour of our outdoor garden/learning space, information about ways to volunteer at the school, and a WCHE Spirit Wear giveaway!

WCHE Curriculum Night - August 30

We welcome parents to attend our informational sessions where teachers will review classroom and curriculum expectations for the school year. Kindergarten-2nd Grade will host parents in the teachers' classrooms from 5:30-6:15 pm. With the following exceptions, Third-Fifth Grade* will host parents in the teachers' classrooms from 6:30-7:15 pm.


*Third Grade parents will meet first in the cafeteria at 6:30 pm.

*Ms. Mohr and Ms. Trapani's 5th Grade parents will meet in the 5th grade neighborhood.


In addition, all parents are welcome to stop by the Library where we will share information regarding our GT, Dyslexia & Reading Intervention programs. Our PE, Art and Music teachers will also be present in the library to discuss special area classes. Please stop by anytime between 6:15 and 7:15 to visit with this group!


Curriculum night is a parent event only. If possible, please make other arrangements for child care for this evening's sessions. We appreciate your support and look forward to seeing everyone on Thursday evening!

WCHE Needs Lunchroom Volunteers

Our lunch team can always use a little help monitoring our students while they enjoy their lunches. If you would like to join the fun, please look through our sign-up sheet and choose the day(s) and time(s) that work well for you. Thank you for making the Tiger's Den a great place to be!

The WCHE PTO asks that all homeroom parents meet in the Tiger's Den (aka school cafeteria) on Wednesday, September 5 at 9:30 am. Please, if serving as a homeroom parent, make every attempt to attend this important, mandatory meeting and RSVP here.


By the way, some classrooms are still looking for volunteers to serve as their homeroom parent. If you'd like to serve, please reach out to your child(ren)'s homeroom teacher.
