Macbeth Act 5 Scene 1
Roman Polanski's 1971 Version & Rupert Goold's 2010 Version
Similarities & Differences
Both versions gave a clear understanding of what was read in the book. Roman Polanski's version was more accurate. From the setting to the dialogue, it was almost completely the same. I liked Polanski's film more also because it helped me understand the plot the best, it was a mirror image of what the book was trying to portrait. One difference I noticed was the setting was different between each version. It was significant because the directors used their own ideas to explain the plot and moral of the book to us.
