Blended Learning has deployed over 200 hot spots to secondary IGNiTE sites and are now moving their focus to elementary sites . Last week, between 10Kajeet hot spots were delivered to Portland for student check out. HERE informational sheet and application that we will send home to families detailing this process and the Access for All Program.
Since we have a limited number to offer at this time, we need to determine who is most in need at this time. Please add names of students that you know would benefit from this program HERE. Once a list is complied, we will send the information home to those families.

Tagul Word Cloud Tool
I recently discovered a great word cloud creation site called Tagul. Students can easily log on to their account using the Chromebooks by clicking on the Log in with Google button. I like Tagul because it allows students to choose from a variety of shape options for their word clouds, and it allows them to save all their work. I was excited to find this creation tool because one of my favorite sites Tagxedo does not work on the Chromebooks, so this is a great replacement. Check out Tagul here.
