Deer Park Elementary New Start/End Times 2022
Welcome to December Deer Park Families! We have 3 weeks left until our Winter Break and I know our teachers and staff are working hard to make it full of learning at The Park! This means we only have 3 more weeks with our current start and end times for school. Please make any necessary arrangements for your child to arrive 30 minutes earlier each day as well as be picked up 30 minutes earlier beginning January 4th, 2022. Here are the important details for this permanent time change.
Arrival
7:50 (Bell #1) All Gates open, Car loop starts running, busses start unloading, and breakfast begins
8:00 (Bell # 2) Classroom doors open for students to enter
8:10 (Bell # 3) Car loop gates close, all students should be on campus heading to class, getting/eating breakfast, and beginning morning routines.
· Safety Patrol can arrive no later than 7:40 via the front entrance, wearing their belt
· Front entrance gates are closed during morning arrival for all other students
· Students arriving after 8:10 will be considered tardy. This is the time when the teacher sets the stage for learning, therefore it’s really important to arrive on time.
Dismissal
2:00 Car loop gates opened, please do not arrive earlier than this as it creates safety issues on Trouble Creek
2:15 Dismissal Announcements
2:20 Bell Rings for all students to home
· Early Release Days, once a month will be a 12:20 release
· Our office closes each day at 3:15 p.m. If you need to reach someone after hours you can leave a voicemail message to be answered the next morning or reach directly out to the teacher via their communication system such as Remind, DOJO, Bloomz, etc. You can always email staff by finding our email addresses on the school website as well. Here's the perfect Christmas gift that lasts all year long!
Dear Parent,
We are so happy that children in your school receive Pack A Sack bags every weekend. We know that food insecurity is a real crisis and are thankful that we have community partners that help us meet this need.
We at One Community Now, are always thinking of ways to benefit those in our community and are thrilled to share a wonderful opportunity where your school can support Downtown New Port Richey businesses and Pack A Sack Food 4 Kids.
The 2021-22 Shop & Support Card offers amazing discounts that can be used every day throughout 2022. The proceeds from this card go towards our Pack A Sack Food 4 Kids program and our Operation Stand Down event, which supports veterans.
This would be an excellent gift for parents to buy their teachers or administrators for their employees.
These reusable cards are $20 each and expire 12.31.2022. If you are interested in purchasing cards in bulk, please reach out to me to discuss bulk pricing. I have also attached a Christmas flier if you would like to share it with your faculty, staff, and parents.
To purchase card(s), please click the following link: https://onecommunitynow.app.neoncrm.com/np/clients/onecommunitynow/product.jsp?product=7&
Thank you for considering this fundraiser as we strive to continue providing Pack A Sack bags for the children in your school and end veteran homelessness in our community.
Grateful,
Shannon Ranes

New Bell Schedule Starting January 4, 2022
This post was published on 11/03/2021.
Due to the chronic bus driver shortage, many students are arriving late to school every day, which results in a loss of instructional time. To address the problem, the school district is implementing a mid-year change to school bell times. School starting and ending times will be adjusted starting January 4, when students return from Winter Break. Use the link below to view the bell time changes.
