ELA
Unit 5
In Unit 5 of ELA , students will start to work on their Informative Essay. This will end up being their 3rd Quarter TGA at the end of Unit 6. Math
Unit 6-Division Equations and Strategies
We will continue to learn about division in our lessons and live class connects. As we continue to work on division, students should be practicing their Math facts daily, in order to develop and maintain their fact fluency. Set aside 15 minutes each day to work on your multiplication facts. Check out the links below for some resources to help with multiplication and division!
Another great way to help your students with division (and math in general!) is to look for "real life" word problems, such as determining how many candies each child will get if 36 candies are shared equally among nine children at a party, or determining how many six-inch lengths can be cut from a string 18 inches long.

MindPlay
In order to complete the lesson, students need to click the "Open MindPlay" link inside the course and actively work for 30 minutes in MindPlay before marking the lesson complete in the OLS.
