Dear FRHSD Parents and Guardians,
Today begins my first day as the Superintendent of Schools of the Freehold Regional High School District (FRHSD). I look forward to serving our community and to the exciting and engaging work that lies ahead, including achieving our mission through the implementation of our District’s Strategic Plan, Compass 3.0, and meeting our educational commitment to our students.
The initial steps for our work together this school year will include articulating goals set forth in our Strategic Plan, Compass 3.0, and preparing our schools for re-accreditation by the Middle States Association (MSA) with a comprehensive self-study and evaluation that will foster the continued growth of the District. The self-study will occur during the 2023/2024 school year and will culminate with a Fall/Winter 2024 team visit for re-accreditation.
We invite you as parents/guardians to share your perspective by taking the Survey for MSA Accreditation. This survey should take about 10 minutes to complete.
An important part of the Middle States self-study is gathering feedback from all stakeholders, including parents/guardians and students. On November 15, we will also be asking your child to take a student survey during the school day. The results will provide valuable insights that will help us to identify strengths and areas for improvement within the district. Information regarding the student survey will be forthcoming from the Building Principal. Participation in this survey is anonymous, and the data from the surveys will be used by a school-level committee for ongoing school improvement efforts. We thank you in advance for your participation and input.
Once again, I look forward to leading and serving the FRHSD Community. Through our collaborative work, we will continue to develop confident learners and productive members of society who are prepared for their chosen pathway after high school.
