This Month's School Wide Objective:

Re-Building Our School Culture! Re-Establishing Our School Wide Norms!

Starting this week, we will be focusing extra attention towards re-establishing scholarly attributes, both inside, and outside of the classroom. Scholars will be expected to adhere to ALL of IIMCA's Campus Norms. We ask that all Parents/ Guardians, assist us in this re-culturing process by, discussing IIMCA's Campus Norms with your child, ensuring your child wears the proper school uniform, rewarding your child for following IIMCA's Campus Norms, reproving your child when not following IIMCA's Campus Norms. With your assistance with this re-focusing, IIMCA can ensure your child a higher level of personal growth, and success! Thank you for being the dedicated care takers you are.

We understands it takes a village to raise a child, thank you for letting IIMCA be your Tribe!

Valentine's Day Celebration!

Big image
Our scholars had a blast this past Friday, as they celebrated Valentine's Day with all their peers! The Valentine's Day Committee also had a blast packing, and sorting, over 120 Candy Grams, that were delivered to our scholars. Candy Grams were hand delivered to our scholars, while smooth R&B music played in the background, to set the mood. Love was in the air. It was a great joy to see the smiles on the children's faces, as they blushed on the way to get their V-Day Grams. Later in the day, our scholars piled into Wesley Hall, and enlightened us all with their energetic dance moves. Wesley Hall was beautifully decorated by our 8th Grade Parent Committee. We raffled off Laker's and Clipper's paraphernalia, along with lots of Valentine's Day memorabilia.Thank you to all that contributed to the success of these events, it meant a lot to our scholars.

*Shout out to our 8th Grade Parent Committee for putting on a great fundraiser!

* Special thanks to Ms. Tawfik, Mrs. Willis, for planning and organizing our V-Day Candy Grams.

In order to stick with the collegiate atmosphere, scholars that chose to wear a college top are required wear the standard uniform bottoms. Jean and athletic style bottoms, will only be permitted on official Free Dress Days. We appreciate your support with of our College Wear Wednesday!
