Tiger Talk
10/26/21
Thank you for your support!
Our APEX Leadership Program and the running of the Obstacle Course were spectacular successes. On behalf of our PTO Board and all of the West Cypress Hills faculty, I want to thank all of our Tigers and Tiger families for their support. Thanks to you, this was one of the most successful--if not THE most successful--fundraising events in the school's history.
I very much appreciate the contagious enthusiasm of the APEX Leadership Team, our staff Coaches, our many Volunteers, and all of the Visitors who came to enjoy our APEX Obstacle Course Event. You made the day fun and exciting for our Tigers.
We made lots of noise, had tons of fun, and I'll be sore for at least a week.
Thank you, all, for your generous support. With warmest regards,
Melanie Beninga, Limping Prinicpal

We're looking forward to seeing everyone's favorite book character!

Celebrate Happy "Planks-giving" with us this November!
Coaches Mirizzi and Clements invite all Tigers to give PLANKS and THANKS November 1 through November 30. Obtain your Planks-giving calendar here and print it so that your Tiger(s) can write on his/her/their calendar something or someone he/she is thankful for each day that your Tiger(s) complete that day's workout during the month of November.
Tigers are invited to return their completed Planks-giving calendars on December 1.
Happy Planks-giving!

Farmers' Market Scavenger Hunt!
Join the fun! Tiger families are invited to visit one of our local farmers' markets and check off each item as you find them at the market.

Our Clinic Needs Clothes for Tigers!
Sometimes our Tigers are studying so hard that they find themselves in need of a change of undies and/or pants/shorts/warmups to finish out their day of learning. Nurse Chapman is prepared for emergencies--including those that require a change of clothes.
Nurse Chapman reports that she is running really low on new and gently used undies and shorts/pants/warmups in sizes smaller than size 8. If you have undies and/or bottoms in sizes 5T to size 7 that you'd like to donate to help restock Nurse Chapman's cupboard, please feel free to drop them off on any school day.
Thanks!
