1st Grade News
Our grade level is full of surprises!
Our biggest science project!
On April 3rd Mrs. López's class, with the support of the rest of first grade, plugged in the incubator and started the heat to hatch 22 baby chicks.
It takes 21 days for them to hatch, so we are turning them twice a day with hopes that they will hatch on April 24th!
Stop by and visit them in room 124
Bring your students and walk them through to take a peek at the incubator full of eggs!
Here are some pictures of our babies to be:
The X side
We put X's on one side so we know which ones we've turned.
The O side
The other side has O's.
Our incubator
We keep a towel on top to keep the temperature at 99-100 degrees Celsius.
