$25 Field Trip Deposit Due - January 8th!

Chaperon Information

If you are interested in chaperoning our 4th grade field trip to the state capitol on Friday, May 20th, you MUST have a current background check on file with the district to be considered. If you have not done this, you will need to as soon as possible. Forms are available in the front office.

As a reminder, all chaperons will be required to pay the $85 in addition to their child’s fee. All chaperons will be required to attend a mandatory training. The number of chaperons will be chosen based off the number of students who end up participating in the trip. To make this process as fair as possible, all parents interested in chaperoning will go into a pool of names, divided up into classes, and chosen at random. If you are interested in participating please make sure your child’s homeroom teacher has received your name by January 8th. We will begin drawing for chaperons the following week and contacting parents as soon as possible so you may begin making arrangements.

End of the Six Weeks - January 15th

The end of the six weeks is quickly approaching! If you have any corrections or missing work, please make sure it has been taken care of with your teachers by January 13th so we have enough time to get grades in before report cards are printed. If you have any questions let us know!

Field Trip to Bass Hall

Wednesday, Jan. 20th, 10:30am

The students will be attending a concert, “Cowboys and Culture” by the Fort Worth Symphony. The performance begins at 10:30 and the students will enjoy lunch following the concert. Students will need to bring $7.00 to pay for lunch. This amount will cover an entree and a drink. Appropriate attire is recommended for the performance. If you have any questions, please contact your child’s homeroom teacher. We are looking forward to this event and can’t wait to share this experience with your child.
